You probably thought that insurance was just for normal things that most of us use, such as your life, health, automobile and home, but that's just not the case. Actually, you can get insurance for quite a few other things, including your sexual habits. In the 1980s, rock legend David Lee Roth had his semen insured for $1 million dollars by Lloyds of London in the event that he got a groupie pregnant on the road. Perhaps his insurance should have covered him for the health effects of random, drunken sex with multiple women. That might come in just as handy.

Mariah Carey, $1 Billion Legs:
In 2006, Mariah Carey's legs were insured for this astronomical amount before the start of a tour. Tours can be physically risky, so it definitely pays for a star of this caliber to think ahead.

Rihanna, $1 Million Legs:
In 2007, Rihanna's legs were insured by Gillette when she was given their Celebrity Legs of a Goddess award. Maybe it's time for her to get a more comprehensive policy?

Heidi Klum, $2.2 Million Legs:
In 2008, supermodel and wife of music superstar Seal had her legs insured for $2.2 million. An odd twist to the story is that one leg is insured for $200,000 less than the other. Why? "They are different values because I have this little scar. I had to be examined in London. A guy came and inspected my leg," says the Victoria's Secret spokeswoman.

Betty Grable, $1 Million Legs:
One of the first Hollywood stars to famously have a body part insured, Fox Studios had Betty Grable's gams protected in the late 1940s for what would be almost $9 million today. Seems like a fair trade!

David Beckham, $70 Million Legs & Feet:
Soccer superstar and paparazzi favorite David Beckham would not be where he is today without his lower half. But if anything ever happened to his bottom parts, is it really worth a $70 million pay day? And what are the premiums on a policy like that?

Here are some other types of insurance that celebrities have gotten that might surprise you just a bit:
1) Dolly Parton's breasts are reportedly insured for $600,000 dollars. I thought it might be more, but what's more interesting is that she is the only celebrity I've seen to get breast reduction surgery and breast enhancements, all in the same lifetime.
2) Jo-Lo's "ba-donkadonk" is reportedly insured for $27 million dollars. If millions were paid out for behind sizes in the black community, we'd be the richest community on earth. Even I would get a payment or two, from my days of running track and playing football.
3) Mariah Carey's voice is insured for $1 billion dollars. Yes, I said a billion. I don't think Whitney and Bobby have the same policy.
Insurance is designed to do one simple thing: Make your life as good as it would have been had nothing gone wrong in the first place. So, while it might seem odd to insure random body parts, the truth is that for some entertainers, it might be a necessity. I know a few guys who might be able to use the "baby daddy insurance."

I'm sorry to burst your bubble, no pun intended, but
according to an investigative piece on Entertainment Tonight several years ago about celebrity rumors, the often-repeated story that they are insured for $600,000 is false.
Dolly also denied the rumor herself in The Insider in November 2005. Other false reports, unfortunately many of which have been picked up by mainstream media, have inflated the non-existent insurance into several million dollars, which is also untrue.
The same goes for the reported reduction surgery too, she never had a surgical reduction.
It's a bit of a long story but here's the short version, she has lost a lot of weight in the 1980's and that had it's (negative) effect on her signature bustline too at that time.
Fortunately Dolly recognised the it too and had the situation corrected (more than once).
